Éric Girault was born in Jérémie in 1937 and was passionate about drawing from a very young age. He had his first exhibition in 1973 at the Galerie Nader in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He has participated in numerous individual & group exhibits in countries around the world: Brazil, Dominican Republic, England, Spain, France, Italy, Germany and in many cities in the United States (Chicago, New York, Baltimore, Washington D.C.). His last solo exhibition took place at the Wilmer Jennings Gallery in Kenkelela in 2017 in New York.
